2021-2022 Ubicación de la documentación: Estudios de Arte Graduado, UCLA, Los Angeles ¡Práctica! Performance que comienza cuando perreo y hago trazos de mi culo en varios tipos de papel con grafito. El grafito se difumina por el movimiento de mi fundillo. Los tipos de papeles que utilizo son papel cebolla para una versión translucida y dura de un sketch del movimiento y papel kozo que contiene más fibras que el movimiento difusa. ¡Práctica!, 2021-2022 Luego de instalar los dibujos, procedo a fichar y en silencio comienzo a perrear y marcar las paredes de la institución. Mis dibujos se enfocan en la periferia y el espacio negativo de mi fundillo mientras perreo (el punto de contacto) para marcar mi territorio. *se escucha el sonido de mi culo rozando la pared* En mis pantalones tengo dos bloques de madera que me ayudan a guayar y rascar la pared mientras la tinta del pantalón se impregna en la pintura y el drywall. Me dejo llevar y cuando me canso y mis rodillas están temblando, paro y procedo a limpiar el trazo creado por mi culo en movimiento, pero en vez de limpiar, la superficie se pule con el agua y hace la acción mas visible al ojo. Ficho la salida y firmo con mi nombre. La acción se repite reforzando y amplificando el trazo. (eng)Location of documentation: Grad Art Studios, UCLA, Los Angeles ¡Práctica! The performance starts when I dance perreo and trace my ass on multiple papers with graphite. The graphite gets smudged by my ass. The types of paper I use are tracing paper for a translucent hard sketch version of my movement and kozo paper for a more fibrous and fuzzy version. After installing the drawings, I proceed to clock in, and in silence make my mark on the institution’s wall. My drawings focus on the periphery and negative space of my ass dancing perreo (the point of contact) to mark my territory. *You hear my ass grinding the wall.* I have two blocks of wood on my ass that help me scratch the drywall, creating a permanent trace on the walls and impregnating them with the dye of my pants. I let myself flow, and when I’m tired and my knees are shaking, I stop and proceed to clean the trace but instead the action of cleaning showcases and polishes the drawing.
